A mere ten years after our last single it’s really exciting to be able to announce that next week “One of Those Days” will finally see the light of day as a full single release, including an accompanying video of Ultraxine having the time of their lives rehearsing and recording the song.
Additionally there are not just one but TWO B-sides, “PowerPopPunkRock” – which is the definition to the answer to the question “just what type of music is it exactly that Ultraxine play?” as well as a response to a reviewer who once drank our free tea but didn’t want to say anything nice about the band. The second B-side “Ballad of the Self-Absorbed”, is, and we quote “not about anyone specific, but about a series of disappointments”.
You’ll be able to download and dare we say buy the single in any of the standard places that you purchase music, but if we may suggest that Bandcamp as the place to go on the 4th September as anything purchased that day gives the funds directly back to the band. Crikey. We’d love to move beyond the 0.8p earnings we’ve currently made this year.
